Today, MFA released the following statement from MFA President and CEO Bryan Corbett in response to the SEC finalizing its rule on Schedules 13D and G.
“MFA appreciates that the SEC modified its final rule on Schedules 13D and G. However, MFA remains concerned with the Commission’s justification for moving notification from 10 days to five business days, cost-benefit analysis, and guidance included in the final rule regarding cash-settled derivative securities and group definition.”
