MFA Announces Erik Johnson as Vice President, US Government Affairs

WASHINGTON, DC – Managed Funds Association (MFA), the trade association for the global private fund and alternative investment industry, today announced Erik Johnson as Vice President, U.S. Government Affairs. Johnson joins MFA from Daly Consulting Group, where he served as Managing Director.

“Erik will be a tremendous asset for the MFA advocacy team,” said Jillien Flores, MFA Executive Vice President and Head of Global Government Affairs. “Erik brings over fifteen years of state and federal financial services public policy expertise. He will make an immediate impact in our advocacy on behalf of members.”

Prior to his work at Daly Consulting Group, Johnson served as the Policy Director for the Office of Gov. John Kasich (R-OH). He previously worked as a legislative aide for Rep. Randy Neugebauer (TX-19) and Sen. George V. Voinovich (R-OH). Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
