Jennifer Deci is MFA’s Vice President, U.S. Government Affairs
Jennifer joined MFA after almost a decade working on Capitol Hill. She most recently served as Senior Counsel on the Senate Committee on Finance for Ranking Member Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), working primarily on infrastructure issues. Prior to her time at the Finance Committee, Jennifer served as Senior Professional Staff on the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs for Chairman Crapo, focusing on capital markets and infrastructure. In this capacity, Jennifer advised the Chairman and Senate Republicans on legislative, budgetary, and regulatory guidance regarding securities policy.
Throughout her time on the Hill, Jennifer served as a liaison between the committees and committee members, leadership, other committees, industry representatives, trade associations, and consumer groups. She worked closely with regulators including Treasury, SEC, and FINRA.
Jennifer earned her J.D. from the Catholic University of America, where she completed the Securities Law Certificate Program, and her B.A. from the University of Alabama. She is a member of the Commonwealth of Virginia bar.
