On March 4, MFA submitted a request to the CFTC for a 30-day extension on the public notice and comment period for its proposed rulemaking on Regulation AT. In our letter, MFA requested that, given the length, breadth and complexity of Regulation AT, the CFTC extend the comment period for an additional 30 days from March 16, 2016 to provide market participants with additional time to collect data and more fully respond to the proposal.
