On September 23, MFA submitted a letter to the SEC in support of the SEC Equity Market Structure Advisory Committee’s recommendations regarding market quality. In the letter, MFA also expressed appreciation for the deliberate and data-driven approach that the SEC has undertaken in assessing and implementing market structure changes. MFA’s letter supports adjustments to:
- The Limit Up/Limit down mechanism;
- Market wide circuit breakers; and
- Market Opening.
