MFA Letter to CFTC on Post-Trade Name Give-Up on Swap Execution Facilities

MFA submitted a letter in response to the CFTC’s request for comment on “Post-Trade Name Give-Up on Swap Execution Facilities.” MFA requests that the CFTC prohibit post-trade name give-up by SEFs for swaps that are executed anonymously and intended to be cleared in order to provide an open, competitive, and level playing field for all market participants.  The letter asks the CFTC to issue a formal rule proposal addressing the practice of name give-up prior to finalizing its other SEF amendments in the SEF Proposed Rule.
