MFA is seeking a team member to join the Membership, Investor Relations and Conference/Events team. The Vice President, Content and Programming will work closely with the Association’s executive team to program content around key policy and operational issues and engage with the Association’s members on various topics.
A successful candidate will have a strong background (ideally 8+ years) in content development, event programming and execution and a solid knowledge of financial markets and the investor universe in the alternative investment space. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and established relationships in the fund manager and investor space and a solid understanding of how to engage the industry’s key constituencies. Booking and event production experience also helpful.
MFA is seeking a team member to join the Membership, Investor Relations and Conference/Events team. The team member will lead the development of major conference programming, panel development and content preparation for all six major MFA conferences as well as selected seminars and peer-to-peer forums.
The ideal candidate has marketing and/or communications experience, preferably within the financial services or private sector, experience developing and executing programming for events focused on the financial services space, and excellent knowledge of the latest communication channels and trends. In this role, a successful candidate will lead content and programming initiatives for selected conferences, seminars and peer to peer forums at the Association, develop and execute marketing strategy for each of the individual conferences with specific revenue targets.
MFA is seeking an intern for the Fall of 2021 to assist with work on domestic (U.S.) legislative issues.
The ideal candidate is a student currently enrolled in an undergraduate business, politics, or public policy program; possesses a strong interest in the financial services industry, as well as financial services policies in the U.S.; possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; is capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment; and is available to work during MFA’s hours of operation (9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.) for a minimum of twenty hours during the work week.
