Director, Content and Programming

MFA is seeking a team member to join the Membership, Investor Relations and Conference/Events team. The team member will lead the development of major conference programming, panel development and content preparation for all six major MFA conferences as well as selected seminars and peer-to-peer forums.

The ideal candidate has marketing and/or communications experience, preferably within the financial services or private sector, experience developing and executing programming for events focused on the financial services space, and excellent knowledge of the latest communication channels and trends. In this role, a successful candidate will lead content and programming initiatives for selected conferences, seminars and peer to peer forums at the Association, develop and execute marketing strategy for each of the individual conferences with specific revenue targets.

Senior Counsel, US Regulatory Affairs

MFA is seeking a legal/policy professional to join the global policy team, who will also work across functions to advance policy initiatives for the Association. The team member will collaborate with legal and government relations professionals on the global policy team to help effectively communicate policy and regulatory matters.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic thinker with experience working in a fast-paced policy office in financial services at a law firm, a trade association, or government. In this role, a successful candidate may analyze the impact of legislative and regulatory developments on MFA members, work with MFA members to develop Association policy, draft comments to regulators and engage directly with policymakers and regulators. The candidate must be a team player, self-starter, organized, and willing to learn new skills and take on a variety of assignments.

Counsel, US Regulatory Affairs

MFA is seeking a legal/policy professional to join the global policy team, who will also work across functions to advance policy initiatives for the Association. The team member will collaborate with legal and government relations professionals on the global policy team to help effectively communicate policy and regulatory matters.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic thinker with experience working in a fast-paced policy office in tax and/or financial services at a law firm, a trade association, or government. In this role, a successful candidate will help staff tax policy issues, among others, and may analyze the impact of legislative and regulatory developments on MFA members, work with MFA members to develop Association policy, and assist with drafting comments to regulators. The candidate must be a team player, self-starter, organized, and willing to learn new skills and take on a variety of assignments.

Manager, Communications/Digital

MFA is seeking a team member who will work with the communications team and across functions to advance communications initiatives for the Association. The team member will collaborate with members of the legal and government relations teams and with outside consultants to help effectively communicate policy and regulatory matters to media, external, and member audiences.

The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker with experience working in a fast-paced communications operation in multi-client consulting, industry, a trade association, or government. In a typical day, a successful candidate will send news clips, produce a deck for members firms, field press inquiries, draft social media posts and graphics, and update the website. The manager must be a team player, self-starter, organized, and willing to learn new skills and take on a variety of assignments.
