Posted on April 26, 2017

For the second year in a row, MFA will partner with Women in Housing and Finance, Inc. (WHF) to host a joint women’s leadership forum. The event, held on Tuesday, May 2, will bring together leading women in housing, finance and policy for remarks and a panel discussion on “What it Takes to Lead.” A networking reception at the W Hotel’s POV Rooftop Bar will follow.

Politico Pro’s Lorraine Woellert will moderate the discussion with panelists, who include:

  • Diane Blizzard, Associate Director for Rulemaking, Investment Management Division, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
  • Michele Davis, Head of Global Corporate Affairs, Morgan Stanley
  • Gail W. Laster, Director, Office of Consumer Financial Protection and Access, National Credit Union Administration
  • Janice Mays, Managed Director, Washington National Tax Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers
  • Bea Stotzer, Chief Executive Officer, NEWCapital, LLC and Vice President, NEW Economics for Women

This is the second year that WHF and MFA have joined together to highlight women in leadership in housing, finance and policy, as well as network and share career advice. Past speakers at WHF events include the heads of Federal agencies, including senior White House officials, trade association CEOs, and heads of Fortune 500s. Panelists will discuss their professional growth and success as a leader, as well as share perspectives on women’s roles in housing and finance, how professional women are helping to reshape these industries and what more can be done to further increase women’s impact in the public and private sectors.
