MFA Home Print this Membership Information for Service Providers

Service providers are important participants in the alternative investment industry, and their support is critical to the growth and success of the industry. This category includes businesses that provide brokerage, legal, accounting, administration, trade execution, clearing and settlement, compliance, technology, consulting, marketing, recruitment and more. MFA has created four membership categories to suit each service provider based on its size and the level of benefits it seeks.

Sustaining

Sustaining members are generally firms with a large number of employees dedicated full-time to serving the needs of the alternative investment community and commit significant intellectual and financial capital in order to help MFA pursue its initiatives. Sustaining members have the opportunity to provide substantial impact on MFA initiatives through participation on a wide range of active committees and working groups, and often have first opportunities to speak at MFA events. Capital

Capital members are generally firms with an intermediate number of employees dedicated full-time to serving the needs of the alternative investment community. Capital members are able to participate in significant ways on certain committees and working groups and are afforded preferred opportunities to speak at events. Capital members also receive a continuous flow of information from MFA headquarters. For a list of complete benefits, please click here.

Basic

Basic members are firms with a small number of employees dedicated to serving the needs of the alternative investment community who believe it is of utmost importance for the alternative asset industry (including Service Providers) to have a unified voice in Washington, DC and beyond. Basic members participate on certain committees and are kept abreast of important industry events and MFA initiatives. For a list of complete benefits, please click here.

Subscriber

Subscriber members include service providers with less than $1M in revenue and fewer than five employees dedicated to the alternative investment industry. Subscriber members are encouraged to participate in MFA's member-wide activities such as conferences and seminars and to avail themselves of MFA's Members Only educational and networking opportunities.
