5.11.2010		MFA has added the Boston Hedge Fund Group as its newest affiliate. Through the affiliation program MFA has forged alliances with six different regional groups, allowing the industry to come together to educate and advocate with a regionally, nationally, and globally unified voice. 4.8.2010		MFA continues the momentum of its affiliate program, today announcing an alliance with the South Florida Hedge Fund Managers, which represents a community of over 100 hedge fund managers, fund of fund managers, analysts and traders working in south Florida. The affiliation with SFHFM further aligns national and regional interests at a time when it is more important then ever for the industry to speak with a strong, unified voice.

3.9.2010		MFA continues to unify the industry voice through its affiliate program, announcing today an alliance with the Texas Hedge Fund Association (THFA), an education and advocacy organization that represents the hedge fund and managed futures industry in Texas and the surrounding states. 3.5.2010		As a global industry voice on regulatory reform, MFA today responded to the new short selling disclosure regime announced by Germany�s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). MFA expressed support for the general approach taken by BaFin but registered concern for the lack of detail in reporting requirements and the potential additional costs that could be shouldered by investors.
