Summary:
It is perhaps a too well-known fact that women are the minority within the financial services industry and, specifically, the financial planning profession. Despite impressive growth in the number of CFP®.
professionals in recent years, the percentage who are women has remained flat, at about 23 percent. This contrasts dramatically with the broader U.S. population and the steady growth of women in other professions. Women compose 51 percent of the U.S. population, and not only outnumber men in graduating from college, but also represent the majority of the workforce.
