Term Loan

a loan for a specific amount that the Borrower borrows on day one and then pays back according to a predetermined schedule. In Bridge Loan commitment papers, there are generally two types of Term Loans: (i) the Term Loan component of the Senior Secured Credit Facility and (ii) the rollover loans into which the Bridge Loans flip at their maturity (generally one year after the Closing Date).
