Forum 2008 is hosting Star Search, a presentation of new and developing traders and fund managers. This is an excellent opportunity for these fund managers to give brief presentations to an influential audience. Each selected fund manager will make a 10-minute presentation, followed by a brief question and answer session. Investors, pool operators and trading managers are encouraged to attend.
To be selected to make a presentation, please send a statement as to why you should be selected to participate, as well as documents detailing your firm and trading strategy (presentation, disclosure document, etc.). These materials need to be sent to the address below and the deadline is Friday, May 30, 2008.
If you are selected to participate in Star Search, MFA will give you a complimentary registration to Forum 2008. If you are not selected, MFA will extend to you the early conference registration rate. Selections will be made in early June, and candidates will be notified directly at that time.
All selected applicants must sign an acknowledgement letter to be issued upon being selected to present at Forum 2008 Star Search.

To qualify and participate as a fund manager in Star Search, you must fulfill the following:
Hedge Fund Manager/Commodity Trading Advisor
- Current member of MFA
- Has less than a 2-year track record
- Must be registered for Forum 2008
- Review the disclaimer
If your firm has previously presented in a Star Search, you are not qualified to participate in the Forum 2008 Star Search.
