The International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA) announced that its 2014 ISDA Credit Derivatives Definitions will be available for implementation starting in September 2014. The new definitions include several amendments to the standard credit derivative market terms currently in effect, as well as new terms based on “lessons learned” by credit derivative market participants.
The MFA webcast will feature derivatives attorneys from Latham & Watkins in New York who will focus on discussing the changes to the new definitions and will outline certain factors that fund managers should consider in determining whether to implement the ISDA 2014 changes for new and/or existing trades.
