Indiana Public Pension Invests $365 Million in Hedge Funds

The Indiana Public Retirement System announced last Friday $365 million in new hedge fund investments it has made since March 1.  Three separate commitments of $100 million each were made to three separate hedge funds.  A fourth investment, totaling $65 million, was allocated to another separate hedge fund.

The Indiana public pension manages $27.1 billion.  It comprises several retirement funds, including, among others, the Teachers’ Retirement Fund, Public Employees’ Retirement Fund, and the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Retirement Fund.
